TRIBAL VILLAGE ADOPTION PROGRAM

As part of our community engagement initiatives, the college has adopted the Paliyakudi tribal village in the Kattappana municipality, situated 5 km from the campus. This village represents a marginalized and downtrodden societal class. Our holistic programs are crafted to empower individual learners and their families, fostering autonomy and self-reliance within the community. Elevating the Paliya tribe requires substantial, sustained efforts from our students. Both students and teachers are dedicated to achieving these long-term goals. The program aimed not only to educate but also to create lasting connections with the tribal community. It integrates activities like community camps, education programs, and collaborative art sessions. This comprehensive approach promotes mutual learning, fostering cultural appreciation and responsibility among students and the Paliya tribe.

ADD-ON COURSES

In response to the evolving demands of an intensely competitive and globalized job market, the incorporation of Add-on courses emerges as a strategic initiative within the educational framework. The Add-on Courses cultivate an urge amongst the students and position them to turn into flamboyant professionals on the latest trends and manifest their technical skills in advanced manner. These courses offer our students an edge over the others. They have their own uniqueness in the context of higher education. The Add -on Courses are conducted for 30 to 60 hours in a semester. They play an important role in the development of the student’s overall personality, thereby enhancing their career prospects.
