The Medical Aid and Care Committee of Christ College has been working with the objective to increase health awareness among students and faculty and provide healthcare services on a regular basis. Provision of First Aid Training to all Christites each academic year helps in risk reduction and empowers them to manage situations in the event of a medical emergency.
The Committee started functioning on campus when the College was established in 2014 at Kattappana, with the objective to provide a safe and healthy environment for employees and students by preventing illness or injury from worsening, relieving pain, promoting recovery, and protecting all within the campus.
The Committee extends its efforts by organizing training programs, awareness classes in collaboration with medical professionals, conducting health check-ups, and observing health-related awareness days. In short, all services and initiatives of the Medical Aid & Care Committee promote better health practices across the Christ campus, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and students.
